1) Stay Formal in your Workplace
You should keep your approach formal within the premises of the company or workplace. Also, it will be good for you to be formal in the relationships with your colleagues and grooming as well. This is because there is a very little difference between informality and indiscipline which we cannot realize when we cross the limit of informality and becomes indiscipline at our workplace.
Therefore, do not get involved in this indiscipline behavior so that you may not have to regret after your indiscipline actions and apologize for it.
You should focus only on your work and work related issues and relationships and don’t have to participate in anyone’s personal affairs. Staying formal doesn’t mean that you should not interact with your colleagues and have fun with them at the workplace.
You can absolutely talk about your personal issues and troubles with them but at the same time restrict yourself within certain definite limits. Also check the right people around you to have these kinds of conversations because there are many people in this planet whose habit is provoking anybody, anytime, without considering the aura of the workplace.
In this situation, you should either change your topic and take the conversation to some other relevant discussion or clearly excuse yourself with that unnecessary conversation and transfer your attention and focus back to your important works and concerns.
2) Give your best at your work:
You should be committed to your work at your workplace and give your hundred percent to get the best performance.
The best method of doing this exercise is that, whenever you are assigned any task, take your time and try to formulate as many solutions as possible for the given task, this can be done at the time before you initiate the work, you should ask different questions related to accomplishment of the task.

Therefore, your dedication towards work and error free execution determines your growth in terms of salary increment or promotion to the higher posts.
4) Tone and Pitch of Talking in the workplace:
At your workplace, you have to be very conscious about some of your habits which is not at all favorable for the atmosphere and which poorly affects the goal of your organization.
For instance, it is our habit to get emotional at the workplace which is natural but we should try to put restriction and avoid such situation where someone uses non-ethical and insulting tone or hurting somebody’s sentiments.

Sometime we make office staff as a resource to fulfill our personal work. This activity is not frequently a sign of a good ethics. You should take some time off to do all your personal work in place of engaging and using official resources and in case if your work is very important to you at any meant time, you should take approval or permission for using any kind of official resources.
6) Do not Misuse the Power:
You should not misuse the powers assigned to you and avoid confidential information or data to become standout with your colleagues and peers.
In today’s era, social media platform are so active that everyone use it to share their opinion and expertise through it. But keep in mind about your professional limits and responsibilities when you tempted to share or display whatever you know through social media to the outside world.
